“To the complaint, ‘There are no people in these photographs,’ I respond, There are always two people: the photographer and the viewer.”

What is the purpose of this object in my Frame ? Unlike snap-shooters, serious photographer ask this question to themselves whenever they are composing a shot. Resolution of this question is essential to make a meaningful photograph. Not only it helps to reduce the clutter in the frame also it makes the picture appear more cleaner and serene.

This rule is somewhat an exaggeration of the the concept that we should get rid of whatever that doesn’t belong in the frame. But it’s not as simple as it sounds. It takes a lot of effort and time to keep things minimalistic and simple specially while shooting outdoors. Though a little effort invested in this rule, either while composing a shot or by cropping the unwanted in post processing truly pays off with magnificently attractive images because you know – “Simple is Beautiful”.

Note : Did you notice how the photographer has created this simple yet elegant and beautiful photograph of this swan? I hope filling up the frame with the subject alone and keeping the distractions out will yields such amazing results to you as well.

I recommend you to visit and like our Facebook Page – “Photography Tutorials” , dedicated to the concept of easy learning of the Professional Photography Techniques on your social media platform.
